I # Ve lived in Oshawa for almost 24 years and has yet to venture into the local provincial park. The 260-acre park is located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario and features hiking trails, campsites, beaches and is located in the heart of the city, a short drive from downtown.
Darlington Provincial Park offers a wide range of hiking trails, campgrounds, beaches and other amenities. The park runs along the border between Canada and the United States and there is a bridge connecting Ontario with the state of New York, so you don't have to travel more than fifteen minutes to get here. There are a number of paths in the park as well as some campsites, but there are only a handful of parking spaces for camping in Darlington Park.
Reservations are made through the park reservation line at 1 - 888 - ONT - PARK, and Darlington has a 24-hour service, 7 days a week, 365 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. M. M., London.
